June 18, 2006: Fan-tasia.net interviewed Actor Tah, (Role in the film: Rico):

What did you do to prepare for the role, if anything?

Tah: "Number one thing, was to pray. Then I had to actually apply my real life experiences with my own two older sisters, to the role I played in the movie with Fantasia."

Fandash: Did anything crazy happen on the set?

Tah: "lol. A lot of things happened. Remember...it is a movie set."

Fandash: What was it like filming in New Orleans, after Katrina?

"For me personally, considering that I am a Hurricane Katrina victim, it was an eye-opening yet humbling experience for me to do what I was called to do in my city knowing the state that it was/is in. And also, the movie was an uplifting opportunity for the community to focus their attention to a more positive perspective of their city."

Fandash: Did you get to meet Fantasia?

Tah: "Yes. The thing that stood out to me the most about her was her "Girl Next Door" persona. She had a beautiful personality, not to mention, she's very intelligent."

Fandash: What was your favorite part of filming this movie?

Tah: "To be honest with you, my favorite part is the movie as a whole. To everyone who's reading this, this movie....Is going to be BANANAS! Simply because it's going to show a girl who triumphs over her adversities. And also, the love between this profound girl and her family. August 19, 2006 @ 9pm, LifeTime Channel...YA HEARD ME!!!"
